Unhappy I am a beginner to Acess and even though doing it online, I need some serious help!

I am studying for an Access test this week, probably 15 hours a day. I never knew the program and I bought two online courses. They help but there are still a great deal I cant figure out.
    1. Creating a Template from an exsisting excel spreedsheet
2.How exactly to do indexes when it says all mine have indexes and how to enter a single vs. a multi index?

    3. Changer templates after excel spreedsheet is inserted (yet to figure out)5.
    4. Adding a field to the actually end of my table, it always goes inside to my last field? Isn't it suppose to come up automatically an "add field"
    5. I have figured out where the calculated fields where on another table, but the table from Excel doesnt have the "add field", not sure why?
    6. Why when selecting date and time, serial, it states I dont have a year?

Doing program through an e-learning Microsoft package I purchused. I really should have taken the teacher class!
