    Input Mask

    Hi,
I need the input mask code to enter into a field within a table. I don't have the Wizard installed and therefore cannot use that.

I need my dates to show the month day and 4 digit year.
The tough part for me is putting in the month using the word rather than numbers.

    Example,

    December 22, 1988
    October 19, 2012

    Thanks for your help.

Why do users need to input typed out month? If the field is a date/time datatype the value will still be stored the same as if entered like 12/22/1988. Use format property or function to display the date value as you prefer.

However, try this as Input Mask AAA/99/0000;0;_
    and set Format as mmmm/dd/yyyy

    or AAA\ 99,\ 0000;0;_
    and mmmm dd", "yyyy

    or 99/99/0000;0;_
    and either format
