Its an autofill issue, but a little different from the ones posted

    Hi all,

Thanks for the environment to discuss Access issues.
I have tables and forms for updating the tables in a web database. One of such tables called TrackerT has TrackerID and UnitNumber as fields. My second table called InstallationDetails has among other fields a TrackerID field that I want to be automatically autofilled when I enter a UnitNumber in a text box I created on the InstallationDetails Form.
In other words, I want to extract the TrackerID from TrackerT table into the TrackerID field of InstallationDetails given the UnitNumber I type in the textbox I created on the InstallationDetails Form.
    Your thoughts Pls. Thanks

I haven't worked with web database but still sounds like need to run an SQL UPDATE or INSERT action.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
