    Exclamation macro not working in Windows 7 machine

    A user has been accessing a access database (mdb) for over an year now. Recently his laptop was converted from XP to Windows 7. Since the laptop upgrade, whenever he accesses the .mdb database and runs it, he hits an error within a macro. The error number is 2950 and it occurs at the "TransferText" step within the macro.

    I ensured that location of the file created as part of the "TransferText" step is included in the "allowed locations" in the trust center of the access database even then I get the error. The same database accessed by a different user on XP machine does not get the error.

    What am i missing, can someone aid with troubleshooting this issue ?

    I have also faced same problem. File is working fine in win xp but not working in Win7. I have also disabled the sandbox mode, put the file in trusted location, tested the trusted status as given in link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931407.
    All other codes are working fine except the following
    Screen.ActiveControl.Value = Screen.ActiveControl.Value + 1

    Very strange but true?
    Can anyone provide some solution direct or roundabot.
    Thanx and regards
