    Comparing Date

Let me preface this post by saying I am an extreme novice to Access, but love it and for the most part am self-taught via books and on-line tutorials. I am great at the really simple things; desiging forms, writing to tables. creating simple queries, desigining reports.

I have two tables that I have linked and I need to pull only the records where the date fields from each table do not match. Table 1 has a planned ship date and Table 2 has an actual shipped date. I thought that putting <>[table1].[ship date] would do it, but was sadly mistaken.

Any help for this Access Kindgergartner?

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried the unmatched query wizard?
