    Conditional Formatting

    Hi

I am trying to highlight fields are above or below target using conditional formatting.

The expressions I have used are:

    [OvertimeHours]>"txtTargetSoFar"

    and

    [OvertimeHours]<"txtTargetSoFar"

Where OvertimeHours is a column in the query the report is based on and txtTargetSoFar is the name of a field on the report.

Any ideas why this isn't working? They are both applied to the same field and it just doesn't apply any formatting.

    Thanks
    Chris

Have you tried without the Quotation marks
    [OvertimeHours] > [txtTargetSoFar]
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Thanks, yes, I've tried that: still with no success.

I have yet to get conditional formatting working with Access!

    Thanks

    Try [QueryName]![OvertimeHours] > [txtTargetSoFar]

Just been experimenting. Can't even get it to work with "Cell Value is less than 10". This is bizarre!
