    truncate (?) values

    Hi,

I have text values in the following format: 2460000_7466000.tif

I want to populate a new text field with the following value: 2460_7466

    How can I accomplish this?

    Thanks!

    If that is always the format then try: left(YourString, 4) & Mid(YourString, 8, 5)

You're very welcome. Is it time to use the link in my signature?
