I remember using a 'Code 39' Barcode font in some reports that I created several years ago.

I just downloaded the Font and installed it in the appropriate Windows Fonts folder.

Then, on the report - where I wanted the barcode to appear - I set the font for that text box to the correct size of the Code39 barcode font.

I bound the TextBox in my report header to a JobNumber field in the Query the report was based on.

I don't remember having any problems with it - so it must have been pretty simple.

    Hope this helps!

    Did you 'Install' the font?
I'm not sure exactly how you would do that with the font you got - but I would have remembered if the one I installed had been a problem.
Since it was several years ago - I just don't remember anything except that it was pretty easy.
    All the best!

yes sir i download it and now don't know how to convert the text in bar code from this font? where to find this font in file?

Tips for Using the Barcode Font
Be sure to add an asterisk * character before and after your text. Example *YOURTEXTHERE*
Microsoft Word may adjust the character spacing and make the barcode unreadable. You may have more luck with Wordpad, found in the Windows Start Menu under Programs > Accessories.

they are saying some thing like above but it is not working just simply follow this procedure. some thing which i am missing over here.

    thanks for ur time.

I'm not sure how you installed the barcode font you downloaded and where you installed it to.

All my fonts are in the C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder - and that is where I remember having my barcode font when I downloaded and installed them years ago.
I am no longer with that company now so I do not have access to all that stuff anymore.
    Sorry!!
