Adding pdf to a field

I can add jpg images to a field but pdf docs does not seem to work. is it possible and how do I do that?

Have you considered using the new Attachment field?

I was planning that for one of my students... situation has changed, she has Access 2003 in the office so what I have read, attaching pdf requires a "pdf server"?

I'm sorry but I do not know about a PDF Server.
