Create a MACROS that UPDATES a column from another Table??

Hello, i have a main table, and i want to create a macros so when the user clicks on a button, it pulls data from a particular field from another table and updates it to the same field in my table. is this possible?

both tables contain the same ID's as an identifier. however, the table that is updating my main table does not have a primary key and must stay that way.

    thanks!

I am not sure why you want to do that. if 2 tables are related there is no need of copying data from one to the other.
