Cool Comment and Uncomment blocks of code

    Hi everyone,

Tired of having to use an apostrophe for commenting code line by line? Hate the fact that we dont have something simple like /* */ to comment a block and have to go into the menu and use the Comment Block and Uncomment Block buttons? Here's how you get a simple keyboard shortcut to make life easier.

    1. Right Click in the toolbar area and select "Customize"
    2. In the Toolbars menu select the "Edit" option (Note: if your Edit toolbar is already active, then skip this step)
    3. With the Edit toolbar now showing, drag the Comment Block icon onto your MENU BAR (The one with File, Edit, View, etc)
    4. Click on the Comment Block icon to select it (there will be a black box around the icon)
    5. Right click on the Comment Block icon and where it has a textbox for a name, put an ampersand before it, so that it now reads "&Comment Block". Press enter to accept
    6. Right click again to bring up the same menu but now check "Image and Text"
    7. Repeat the above steps and do the same with the Uncomment Block.
    8. Now highlight text and press alt+C. Boom. block commented. To unblock, alt+U.

    (Adapted from the instructions here)

    Hope this was useful.

Thanks to user Ashe for asking the question that led to me finding this method.
