    Multi-user problem

I have a database that is used by multiple users. It seems that some of the records are missing when two users are entering data at the same time.

I entered data on one terminal at the same time another user entered his. I finished the input and saved the recored. I then checked the table and my data was there. After the second user finished his entry, I checked the table again and ny entery was gone.

I've attached a copy of the database. The specific area was the "Scale Ticket" menu. Any selection from there does the same thing.

I have little experience here, but have been burned.

I think the answer lies in Access record locking.
I Googled 'Access record locking' and got a bunch of hits that look relevant.

You should do some research on splitting your database; Frontend and backend and multiuser ms access.
    Here's a start

    Thanks for the responses.

I have tried to split the database, but keep getting an error. "Subscript out of range".

I copied the database file to my computer from the network drive before I tried this. It creates the "be" file , but doesn't finish the process before giving the error.

    Any ideas?
