Question suppress the numerical values from being displayed on the "yes/no" check boxes

How do I suppress the numerical values from being displayed on the "yes/no" check boxes when a user clicks directly in the field, instead of clicking the arrowhead as they should?

This is on a Form. The "yes/no" check boxes are displaying the text YES/NO as they should, however, when a user clicks directly into the box, it displays the numerical value, as it should. But my manager seems to think this is a problem, I say it's not, but she insist that I post on a bulletin board to find a work around. FYI, I've got 22 years experience building MS Access Databases!

I have not been able to reproduce this. I have tried setting the table to numerical and I have tried setting the table to Yes/No field. I then tried in the form setting it as a checkbox and even tried with sub forms. Perhaps you could post your db with some sample data so that we can look at the properties and either confirm or oppose your theory.
