Talking activex control (ado data control)

i am using microsoft ado data control
in ms access from the ActiveX controls
but i don't know how the connection
works. i already did the test connection
string but i don't know how to put it
    in the text box.

    i'm a vb6 user and the way how i
connect it is through the use of
"data source" and "data member" from
the properties of the text box.

i couldn't find any of those from
    ms access. pls help!

    thanks again,
    kiera

    i actually don't have
    any codes yet. i just
    want to know how the
    ado data control may
    connect to another table
to get its value so i could
use it to the other table.
