Automated Data Collection Through Email Trouble

I was playing around with this feature--trying to discover if it could be useful to us--and corectly sent the emails to test the process, but the data entry fields in the HTML email I send cannot be typed into. At first I tried a yahoo email account, and then a outlook exchange account, but I cannot enter values into the fields in the form that is sent out?

I am using access 2010 and outlook 2010. Is this a common problem? I read somewhere that the replier might have to use Outlook. Is this true? What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

I have successfully tested data collection only with Outlook (not Exchange) on both ends.

The HTML method does not require Outlook. However, use of InfoPath does require Outlook on both ends.

I wonder if you could post a follow up?

It's easy enough with my Outlook:
    1) hit "reply"
    2) fill the form out in the reply email
    3) hit send.

Here's the kicker which I think is giving you trouble. If you are "testing" it and sending the email to yourself you need to open the email in your sent folder not in the inbox. Reply to the email in your sent folder and fill out the form in that reply email. Then it will work. It won't work if you fill it out in the reply to the email that is in your inbox (or so I've read).

I figured out how to send an HTML email of the fields I want updated in Access 2007. How do you do it in Access 2013?
