A few thoughts based on limited understanding of your business

It appears you want to track your inventory and the transactions in and out of inventory.
First of all, a table for your inventory items with a record for each distinct item in your inventory. Each record might contain the item number and/or name, description, supplier?, and number in inventory.
A second table would record each transaction as a separate record. Each transaction record would have date, type (sent, received...), buyer name/seller name, price and quantity.
You might have a form to review your individual inventory stock and another form to review and add transactions, and corresponding reports. The trickiest part will probably be the updating of inventory when a transaction occurs.
Be sure to review the MS templates for ideas. The Northwind sample database has examples that might help you, although it is a more complicated than what you need at the moment.
    Hope this helps.

Hmmm? The original post is 16 years old. The response Post #2 is 8 years old. I doubt the OP is still waiting on another response.
