    Adding a Manual Date

I am very new to Access and espcially to this forum so excuse me if this sounds like a dumb question.

I am designing a database and want to add a manual date at the bottom of the database. Currently I have =Now() which displays the current date and time. I want to be able to display a date that I enter to show the last time a change was made to the database. I tried to just enter the date but then a dialog box comes up when I open the database asking me to enter a date.

How do I just enter a date manually into my database design where I have the =Now()?

    TIA,
    Jimmy
