For Access Developers and Any and Every Access Enthusiast

I just wanted to let all Access Developers and Access Enthusiasts know

Microsoft is currently holding the Tech-Ed Conference in South Africa

At the moment there is the Developer Idols Cup taking place - and my presentation which is the only one that has to do with Access directly has made it in, chosen by the Microsoft Team.

    My topic is:

Distributing Enhanced Access 2007 Databases with Access Runtime and Access Developer Extensions.

However to get to present (only six will be chosen) - it needs to be voted in at the Facebook poll by people.
Under this poll - Which topic would you like to see at DevIdols? - Part 1

    www dot facebook dot com/msdevsa

If my topic is selected through getting enough votes I plan to use it start a local access group in South Africa for local and international Access developers and specialists, and link to many forums like this one.

Since the development of these Access databases which will consequently be done by Access specialists for companies - to be distributed using Runtime and will create job employment opportunities as well as spread the use of Access and get people familiar with Access's way of presenting data in the forms and the reports.

The Facebook poll closes at 11:59 pm tonight

So if you want to help with spreading Access Awareness in South Africa please do vote.

Shameless begging aside very glad to be here .

    Thanking you
    Taryn Nefdt
    MOS Specialist (Access 2007)
