Question Linking large number of forms and tables

I am in the process of developing a survey (that will be administered on touch screen laptops) that includes over 100 questions and 500 fields. These questions are being created with access forms that link to parent tables. My question is what it the best way to proceed with this process? I have come across two issues that I need to resolve: 1) I need more than one parent table (because the number of fields is greater than 255) and 2) I need these forms and tables all to be linked in a consistent way – so that once a survey is complete I can press “reset” – and essentially all the forms will be reset together.

    Given these requirements:

1)Is it best to build this from the forms up – linking all the forms to parent tables – or to begin with 2 parent tables and create linked forms form these tables?
2)Given that I have two parent tables – no matter how they are developed – what is the best way to link these so that once I create the “reset” button all the tables (and forms) are rest simultaneously?
    Thanks.

Maybe Duane Hookom's At Your Survey has some tips you can use.
