TextBox control not linking to query data

I'm just trying to link a TextBox control to data via a query, but I'm getting the #Name? error. The query and the data field exist, but for some reason, the data isn't binding to the TextBox.

It would help to see specifically what you're trying, but I assume you've got something like:

=QueryName.FieldName

which won't work. You can only bind a textbox to a field in the form's record source.

Yeah, that's what I did. So I added the field to the query behind the form, and then linked it and it worked. Thanks.
