    I will try that. Slight glitch. The report needed to read years then form number so I rewrote the union I get a Enter parameter Value for calls.form type3 and calls.form type4. after I click on them with no value entered the union opens. I tried redoing it several times.

    What is the SQL now? are the field names correct? As I recall, you're names were inconsistent; some had spaces and some didn't.

    Line 1 of data has correct height, remainder of lines of data height is larger can it be consistent

    Pbaldy, You are great!! I have a working copy I think of the report. Strange thing, on line 2 the area is gray the other lines are clear. What should I look for

    Don't have my laptop with Access 2007 on it running right now, but as I recall you had the alternate back color on. That's a property of the detail section I believe.

    Thats what I thought I changed all back colors and it's still there only on every other line

    Okay, you made me fire up my laptop & VM. As I suspected, in the properties of the detail section, the Alternate Back Color property is set. If I change that to No Color, the report is all white.

    That must be the difference, in 2010 there is only back color not alternate back color. Back color is transparent.

    Got it. It is under group level at the arrow. Almost done with everything.

    I think my last question is once I convert to Xcel the header information does not show. I used labels to create the header I couldm not get things to line up as a title. Any Ideas
