    HELP! Conditional Formating question

    Hello newbie here!

I just created a new db using Microsoft's Contact List db as a template. I have modified the fields and imported all my data, now I just need to tweak it to make it more functional.

One thing I want to do is to use a conditional format command that will change the color of the entire line based on the selection of a single field. I have included a screenshot indicating the field that should make the determination. The field itself is tied to a check box on my input form and if the check box is checked I want it to change the color of the entire line. Also when I create a new record with the box unchecked I want the line item to be a different color than the standard white background. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.

I don't know of any way to do this on a row as a whole. You can use conditional formatting for textboxes. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.10).aspx
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
