    Form AfterUpdate Event

I have a form in MS Access 2010 used for the data in a table. I am setting up an audit log to create a record in the AfterUpdate Event that will save the date of the update, user, and type of update. I would also like to save a description of the update but Here's where I'm lost. Since the form is based on a table is there a way to record the changes that were made?
