    aSTR = Dir("C:\*.*") >> "Type Mismatch"

    I just changed hard drives and reinstalled everything, and now this:

    Dim aSTR As String
    aSTR = Dir("C:\*.*")

    gives me a Type Mismatch error.

    Any ideas?

    Turns out I had added all the table fields to the the form query, including a "Dir" column.
