Access 2010 - Tab Index problem

    Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this issue or it wad just me?

I'm using a table with 5 text boxes and check box and then a text box. Each is set up with a Tab Index from 0 to 6. However in Form View I am having problems with the check box. On the 5th tab I'm finding the label is becoming highlighted rather than the checkbox and on the 6th tab I'm selecting the following text box. I'm not getting the check box?

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
    Louis

It appears that the label is selected when actually it is the combined label/checkbox that is tabbed to. You can see this if you use space bar to change the checkbox value. As a test, delete the labels, you will clearly see the tab action on each checkbox.

You could size the labels to surround the checkbox with text on the left side or text on right side and right aligned.

Thanks for that I can see the space bar does activiate it even with the label selected :-)

    Thanks
