How to change default view at launch?

I am adding a user to help me manage the database but every time it's opened it gives some kind of lock file error. I think it may have something to do with changing the write permission in the folder the db resides. My question is: I need help to change the default view from design view to form view when the database is launched. Can someone please help?

    Thanks!

What do you mean by 'design view to form view'? You mean when the project file is opened?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

right. the db is giving an error because it's trying to show the default view in design view. i'd like the view to be on datasheet view

You are saying a FORM opens in design view instead of datasheet view? I have never seen this.

What method are you using to open the form? Is this the default form when project opens? Is it opening by code in a button click? Is it opening by manually clicking in the navigation pane?

    What is error message?

Show any code relevent to this behavior. Attach project to post so we can analyze it directly.
