is it possible have a semicolon separated field?

    Hi,

    i need your help again...

i'd like to make a form that show datas in this way

    record name favourite colors
    1 amy yellow; pink; red

    2 mary white, blue
    3 thom green, blue, white

is it possible? (this is only an example) I have to do the same thing on a report.
for each "name" I write many "favourite colors" using a form (name) and a subform (favoutire colors)

    best regards

Why would you do this in a form? That is not proper way to set up data input form. What is your table structure?

    Check this article: http://www.blueclaw-db.com/concatena..._one_field.htm

I would never use but there is a multi-value field datatype available in Access.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
