Split Access Database doesn't load records in form to edit

    Hi!

I have an Access 2010 database that I have split. In the database I have a couple tables, forms and two reports. I have entered some data into one of the tables, but when I go to edit the data in the form the next time, there is no data (though I have verified that there is data in the table). Also, there are two reports that can pull the data without any problem.

Any advice as to why the data wouldn't show up in the form would be great.

    Thanks!

    Rob

What is the RecordSource for the form - table or query? Did this form work before split?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

The RecordSource is the table. The form did work prior to the split. It may have even worked at some point after - though I have updated and re-packaged the solution a few times and that is when I noticed that it would let me add new records, I just can't get to previously entered records unless I actually go into the tables.

You are sure there is no filter set in the form? I have had forms and reports get so corrupted could not be salvaged. Try creating a new form and see if it will retrieve all the records. If it does, then rebuild form. Copy/paste controls and code.
