Thanks in advance.

Hi
I could be wrong, but it sounds to me as though the FE can't find the BE. Could it be that the BE has been renamed or moved?

What is the object that is trying to open?
Could mean Access can't find the backend. Is the frontend on the user's workstation? Backend is on a server? Using drive letter designation for table linking means user must have a path set for that location. An alternative is UNC path. Then user doesn't need path setting. Requires VBA code to set links with UNC path.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
Finding the BE isn't a problem; user is able to update records in BE environment.
A certain report can't be openend which is part of the FE part.
This is a problem for just one user; eight other users don't experience this issue.
Nothing is renamed or removed; in that case the other user's should have te same problem.
Could it be that the report has become corrupted?

Could it be corrupted for just one user?
I've tried to open the report from my own computer and it works as it should be.
Also other user can open it. All users have the same version of the application.
If each user has copy of the FE on their machine then yes.Could it be corrupted for just one user?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. A new version of what?Is it an option to reinstall a new compiled version on every machine?
As I understand it, the problem is only with one copy of the FE on one users machine. I could be wrong, but I would simply make a copy of one of the FEs that is on the other 8 machines and try that on the machine that is giving you problems.
