Please Help.. can not open more than on intance of app.

I just upgraded an application made in Access 97. I was able to run it twice without any problem, but since I updated it to Access 2003 I can only open the application just one by double clicking the mdb app. I can run a second intance only if I go to Start-Progams- MS Access and open the application again from Access.

I browsed a lot at seems that lot of people experience the same problem running multiple intances. Now what is curious is that in other PC i have also with Windows xp I can run multiple application with out any problem. So i figure that there must be some Regsitry switch that contrals if an app can be opened more than once concurrently.

Hope somebody could help me figuring this out..
I just want to launch twice the same app from a single icon, as I used with Access 97.

    thanks so much!!!

    Try this:

    1) Select Tools|Options from the menu

    2) On the view tab, make sure 'windows in taskbar' is checked
