Need Report Advice

Hello All!



I need a little advice.

Part of my db is a table of assemblies (tblSetAssembly)

tblSetAssembly
SetAssemblyID - pk
SetID - fk from a tbl with all the "sets" (their names)
InstrumentID - fk from tblInstrument
SetInstrQty - quantity of each Instrument in Set Assembly

What I need to do is be able to print an "assembly sheet" with the name of the setassembly, the instruments in the set and qty.....

I noticed when you try to create a report (1st time I have ever done it) it prints all the records......ie - all the set assemblies

I was thinking about a query that asks for the setid (name) and then be able to print from that....

Is that the best way? The only other option I could think of was to make each set assembly its own table instead of having just the one.

Any advice would be appreciated.
