    List populating based on criteria

I am totally new to Access, so I apologize for probably not phrasing my question very well.

I have two tables "Developer" and "Programs." The Developer table just lists the developers (AutoDesk, Pinnacle) The Programs table has two fields listing the developer and the program name (AutoDesk.AutoCAD, AutoDesk.Civil3D, Pinnacle.StudioHD)

I have a form with drop-down lists for Developers and Programs. When I choose "AutoDesk" from the Developer drop-down list, I only want the programs made by AutoDesk (AutoCAD, Civil3D) to show up in the Programs drop-down list.

Can someone explain how I can do this? Thanks.

It took some head scratching and some desk banging, but I finally was able to apply your sample to my form. Thanks a bunch!
