    Access 2010 / Windows 7 conflicts?

Recently I've run into what appears to be a conflict between Access 2010 and Windows 7.

I'm developing an application that's in Access 2000 *.mdb format. Because our business uses both Access 2010 and Access 2003, it's important to keep our Access apps in a format that's usable by both.

If I develop the app using A2010 on a Windows 7 PC, eventually the app gets corrupted to the point where if I launch the app (or open a form in "user" mode), Access crashes and dumps me back to the desktop. At that point, the only way to recover things is to run a compact & repair using Access 2003 -- the A2010 compact & repair is ineffective. This happens frequently enough that I've taken to developing apps solely in Access 2003 on a Windows XP machine.

Has anyone else run into this? If so, have you been able to solve it, and how?

    Steve

Start here and see if it helps. You have a pretty general issue and it can have a multitude of causes.

    You need to read :

And this one is also applicable to 32 bit even though it says 64 bit:
