    Exporting a Query to Excel

I have a query that I am importing into Excel to send to a user. I need to format the currency to 4 decimal places but it will only export to Excel with 2. I have modified the properties in Access but it still only shows as 2. Do I need to create a report in order to show 4 decimal places?

In the excel spreadsheet, are the underlying values shown with 2 or 4 decimal places and it is only a formatting issue for presentation?

    Excel

It is formatted in Excel as 2. I changed it to 4 and it does show. So I take it that there is no way to by default, show 4 in Excel. Not a big deal, but you know end users.

Well, you could use the Excel common object model to set the decimal places after exporting or before exporting.
