# added to string with Dlookup

    # added to string with Dlookup

    When I set a variable equal to a Dlookup function a # is added at the beginning and end of the string making it unusable. The string is a path. It does it with both text fields and hyperlink fields. What am I missing?

    What version of Access and do you have an example of the code you are using?
