    Command Button Hover Issues

I have quite a few of occurrences of this problem and can't figure it out. Last time I asked for help with a transparency issue it was addressed with some serious genius. Hoping for the same with this bug.

Either when I start access or hover over a few of my command buttons I get this. My properties are identical except the top margin. I have tried looking for a glow or shadow, but nothing is popping up. My database is 385mb in size running well within my allotted 6mb of RAM. I'm lost on this one.

so what's the problem? you didn't even say. that you get a black shadow on hover sometimes when there is no property set?

and I think you meant to say that you have 6 GB of RAM instead of 6MB???

try compacting your file first. and my other question is....ARE the shadowings supposed to be happening? from the look of your prop lists, they should be. right?

Windows 7 eats up more than that in hibernation.

Yes there is a black outline around a few of my command buttons.

Not that I am aware of. However, I am pretty new at this, maybe you could point me in the right direction.

Going to save up to this point. Compact, reopen, and see whats up. I'll be back with a "help" or a "thanks".

    ajetrumpet,

I did the compact and repair on the program. The same buttons are giving the same shadows. I am missing something simple.

    Any guesses?

    Thanks for your help!

I noticed something. Under tab control, when I F5 to refresh, the shadows are appearing. I have been copying the same buttons and modifying them. So it has to be something simple. I just realized I have about 15 buttons now. Dang it!

It seems that the F5 shadows were a one time thing after the compact and repair. Thanks AJ!

    Finally fixed permanently.....

Seems the issue came back over and over. It was only on the buttons that I had added. It's always something stupid easy to fix, just have to track it down. I ended up switching the command button images to embedded, and it's fixed for good.

Again, thanks for the help. I'm about to start integrating more automation now. The members will be seeing me soon again
