    Access Report deletes grouped data.

I have just done a report and when I view it access seems to not put in all the data when the data above is the same...Example...

    Jim-----Jones-----£25
    Bob-----Evans-----£21
    Sue----------------£21
    Dave---Morgan------£20

Now...Sue's surname is Evans too but the report doesn't show this. I know it is something to do with the record above being the same but I cant find out how to show it?

Are you grouping on last name? If so, you should not do that. Even grouping on the entire name might not be good enough since the full name can be shared among many people.

You would be better off grouping on a unique identifier associated with each person.

I don't have any grouping at all.

I only have a SORT by the rate of pay.

Kind of a strange issue, is it only the last name that is missing in some records or is other information missing as well?

How is the report getting it's information? Directly from a table or via a query? If from a query, do you see all of the information when you run the query separately?

Is there any filters or code running as the report opens?

Well if I sort them by first name and last name it doesn't show the ones below (Some people are on there two or 3 times under different contracts.

Though I have noticed that the salary and hours don't disappear when the same values are above/below one another.

    I really cant understand it

    Heres a pic of it

Would it be possible for you to post a copy of your database with any sensitive data removed? I am guessing that there is something very subtle going on that is hard to diagnose without seeing the actual DB
