minus particular Items (barcode) only...

I am Alex, around three years I am trying to do this function but didn’t get the code, please help me
 First, I have done a ms access system for normal grocery shop (with barcode, description, price, category, etc.) my problems are


1. How can minus sold items from stock ( like, barcode- 200000 3pcs sold on 23-06-2011
Total stock was 10, so (10-3=7) net stock balance should show 7. How to minus specific item from total stock

Stock Position table or query

Barcode --------Stock qty
200000--------250


Sales invoice form
Barcode ----description----price----qty----total---- date

200000--------Coke-------1$-------50----50$-----23-06-2011






After sales should show like this.
Barcode-------- Stock qty
200000--------200

I would generally not try to store the quantity on hand, rather calculate it from in/out transactions. Here's a discussion on the topic:
