How to make Access to be the only thing available on PC

    Hello,
I have an Access database, I'd like to make it the only application available to users. PCs that would be used for this purpose have windows 7 on them. What I'm looking for is when PC is turned on and windows is loaded Access interface shows up that cannot be closed (just adding icon to startup folder won't work). All other windows functionality and applications should not be accessable. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

    Hi,
Access is windows based application and part of Ms-Office, so restricting users to only access application you need the administrative prevalleges not to install any others softwares except Ms-Access. but this will also not work, because users can switch between windows by pressing Alt+TAB (the default behavior of windows)

Thanks for your reply. I have full admin rights. The functionality you are describing is what I'm looking to disable.

yes, it is splitted. the reason for it is to prevent users from using PC for anything other than that particular DB (No internet, no games, and nothing else).

If you prevent your users from installing no other softwares, then that would be enough and you have also control to not to use the internet. let them play the window default games or they would be mad enough by just working on the database ::cool

I think you can achieve your goal by using Windows Server Active Directory.

Perhaps, I have never used it, but quite possible it is what I'm looking for... I'll try to google it; if you have any references about it I'd appreciate. Thanks for the hint!
