Allow right-click on Hyperlink to edit?

Hello folks,

Using Access 2007 on Windows XP, I'd like to make a field that can contian a hyperlink (initally blank if that's okay), where the user can right click and browse to a document on our servers and select it as the document to link to.

I can make a hyperlink to such a document, but I can't seem to make the "right click to edit" work.

I did a search and it seems like the "Shortcut Menu Bar" may have something to do with this? But I can't get it to work.

I believe this can be obtained by going to access options and selecting the full menu access / short cuts in general option of the ms-access. (not sure for access 2007 which tab?) but you will find it there somewhere...

I got a note from another fellow working on this database, that the problem was that he had a mcrHide macro action set for the on open property, and when he removed the macro action, the hyperlinks are working as desired.
