    Data type mismatch error

    Hi,

I'm kind of new to Access but I'm slowly learning how to use it. I keep running into a particular problem that I can't solve.

I'll try to simplify the problem as best I can so as not to confuse what's going on. I have 2 input tables (Accounts, Descriptions) and 2 queries. The queries are very simple. They take a subset of the Accounts table based on different criteria and output the appropriate description from the Descriptions table. The queries use the same input fields and have the same output fields, just with different data. I'm trying to recombine the data from the two queries into one large table using a Join All, but I'm getting a data type mismatch error for one of the columns. I'm stumped because the queries are using the same input fields. What am I missing?

Let me know what other information I should post if this is confusing.

Post the queries SQL statements for analysis. You can copy the statements from the SQL View of the query designer.
