    Switchboard Manager Problem

I am working with the Switchboard Manager for a switchboard that displays the wrong title but only on the default menu.

I've looked at the macros and noticed that they do not select the specific item names (display descriptions) but only the switchboard ID, yet it works perfectly for all menus except the default.

The menus have a maximum number of 7 items. There are 6 menus and oddly enough the Item Description displayed is associated with the 6th record.

    Appreciate any help.

    Thanks

Switchboard is not a feature I ever use anymore and can't remember the specifics - your Access textbook will review this feature completely. In general this is a table driven feature and you should find a local table that has the text of the name that displays along with the ID that is used by the macro for the open event.

    Thank you

I was able to resolve the problem by replacing the default menu by total recreating it. I guess there was some corruption.

Just backup the database and compact and repair it. It will put the right titles back in place
