Why is there a large gap between detail and footer area?

    Hello,

Every time I create a form, there is a large space between detail and footer. I try to minimize the space in design view but it doesn't work in the form view. Is there a way to fix this giant gap?

I don't think so. Maybe the nature of Report and Page footers to run at the bottom of pages. Not so with group footers.

Just read in another thread (and so far, can't find how to get back and thank the guy!) that it can be fixed by putting extra blank space at the bottom of the footer. Sounds like a real problem - two threads, and a silly (as in, non-intuitive) work-around!
