Function: add date when record appears on report

Hello,

What type of function do I need to create that will input today's date when a record appears on a report? Ideally, the program could be set to autoselect the type of mailer from a look-up field (the report is address labels), but at least the date would be fine. I am fairly new to functions.

Don't hold me to this, but could you not add a text box and use '=Now()' as a control source property?
Try that, and see what happens. I don't think you need a function for something like this as far as i'm aware.
