Box gets value from operations of other box.

I have three box on my form, say

AMT1, AMT2, Total.

AMT1 is a field for input
AMT2 is a field for input


Total field should automatically be AMT1 + amt2.


How should I go about in the total field? thank you.

Have a look at the attached sample.

Also look at this attachment. I took a different approach and used the table as the record source for the form. Look at the form in design view.

Both ideas work and their use depends upon your preference.
