I am a new Access 2007 user, so please forgive my ineptitude for now. After several hours of floundering around, I have decided that I need some expert help. This is my first post, so here goes. I have created a report for our clients that has fields for Client, Description, Date, BegBalance, Debits, Credits and EndBalance. I calculate the EndBalance on the field control in the report for January. The calculation sums up perfectly including the subtotals and grand totals. Now, I need to carry the EndBalance over to a new report for February. I've been reading about the DSum function for running balances, but I just don't understand how to use it in my report. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you, J.
