Problem Saving Access 2007 to 2003 database

I have a very small database in Access 2007.

Need to save as an access 2003.

When I attempt in gives me a message that I can not save possibly due to features sucha as attachment field etc.

I am not doing any of these things. Actually I am doing very little.

No special type of fields all text.
    No linking to odd files.
    No security.

I am importing a text file and exporting to Excel using Specifications.

I tried to delete each table and query etc one by one then attempt the save.

    I never could save.

I tried to create a new database in access 2003 and import the objects but I noticed my import/export specs were not imported.

    Any ideas?

    Ok.

I created a new Access 2007 database and imported all the objects.
Then saved the new database as a Access 2003 database and it worked.

The only thing that was not in the database was the import/export specifications.

I guess the best way to proceed would be to rebuild the specifications into the 2003 database? Working with these specifications really seems clumsy, especially when using different versions of access.

If anyone can shed any light on this, I would love to hear it.

Import/export specifications are stored in the system tables MSysIMEXSpecs and MSysIMEXColumns. These two tables can be imported or exported, but the target database must not contain an existing import/export specification. If the target database already contains an import/export specification, additional tables that Microsoft Access does not recognize will be created.
