    Novice at best

in my db, each field can have multiple entries for any given day. Is it possible for a report to display the individual data for the day? For example, today I entered (3) shipments with the same product code. The morning report needs to show these (3) individual shipments and related data for the production date. Any help would be most appreciated.

I worked on it this weekend and was successful with displaying the needed data by grouping. But I have to keep the same formatting of the existing report which was built using excel. I had no problems when i built the other reports because each field had a box on the report i could tie it to. Now i have multiple entries for one day that also need a box for each on the access report but I cant figure out how to accomplish this.

I'm a little unclear on what you need....perhaps a screen-shot of the desired report format would help?

Ok....thanks for the screen shot. So what do you have so far...as far as queries to create the report data? This looks like a crosstab....which could be challenging.

I have been experimenting with sub reports today. I made (3) seperate queries, (1) for each product. then on the main lab report, in the details section, I made (3) sub reports, (1) for each product and linked the sub reports to their respective quiry. I am still having problems with matching the format but I believe I am headed in a somewhat good directions. what are your thoughts?
