I have probably around 500 copies on my software installed world wide. They all use an Access database to track the status of the process running (long term testing of semiconductors). The software monitors the status of the test and logs it to an access database so if something happens to the computer it can be re-started and know where it was.

We are talking from 10 to 20 records in two tables. These records are deleted and re-created every few minutes.

The question, about 10 of these systems seem to want to grow the size of the database very quickly, easily reaching 500MB over a weekend. Only certain ones do it, I have tried everything I can think of (including the compress on close option)

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
