    Importing a table created in word to Access


    Hi there, I was hoping if someone could let me know if it is possible to import a table from word into Access

    Not directly.
    However, what you could do is define a new table with columns that match those in the Word table, then simply copy and paste from the Word table to the Access table.

    John's advice was spot on. For the future, you may want to consider using Excel as the "import from" app, as Access does have the ability to import right from Excel. Excel has other advantages as well, such as capabilities for validating your data before you import it.
